Landscaping & hardscaping in Chevy Chase

At the front entrance, planting has to look right from the approach as well as from the door. Our Chevy Chase front-yard project uses layered shrubs, ornamental grasses, and seasonal color plantings in a redesigned entrance. The gallery describes a planting-led project, with year-round interest as its aim. It is a useful example if your front beds feel flat or the entrance gets lost behind them.

Where should the planting frame the approach, and where should it leave an open view? Those questions belong in the design and installation conversation before individual plants are picked. In the Chevy Chase project, shrubs and grasses provide the layers, while seasonal color gives the beds a changing element.

If the walking surface needs work too, our hardscaping service covers paths and other built features. That would be a separate question from the planting shown in the Chevy Chase project.

Which Chevy Chase is on the application?

Chevy Chase includes several municipalities as well as addresses outside their boundaries. The county municipality guide lists different approval arrangements for the Town, Village, Sections and nearby villages. It even places Chevy Chase Village in two approval-order categories, so confirm the sequence directly with the municipality before submitting a plan.

For a fence, a tree or changes to front beds, identify the parcel’s jurisdiction and any association review first. A Chevy Chase mailing address is not a permit answer by itself.
